As we all know there were huge protest all over Karnataka, regarding the matter of VTU Year Back cancelled for 2010 scheme and Supplementary for CBCS Scheme students. VTU took time to make decision and today VTU held a press meet to reveal the final decision about the cancellation of year back of VTU. The result of the press meet is finally revealed by AIDSO on their official Facebook Page.
Congrats to all the students for the victory with cancellation of year back for Non-CBCS scheme.
Sadly, VTU has done nothing for CBCS students. I mean this critical system is not cancelled for CBCS scheme, only applicable for Non-CBCS Students. Anyways we have got victory at least in some way.
Thanks to Vice Chancellor, Registrar and Executive Council for this pro students decision, also thanks to AIDSO, VTU-SSC and Shravan who showed a lot of support, stood with students and given updates everyday about, Whats Happening! .
CONDITION BY VTU:
Students can enter the next year if they fail in four or more subjects and can also enter their third year if they do not pass any of the first year papers. Similarly, they can enter final year even if they do not pass all second year papers.
However, students can write the exams only if they clear papers as per the earlier eligibility criteria in their upcoming exams. If the student gets eligibility then they will.be allowed to write their semester exams during vacation.
More information about the year back cancellation will be updated as soon as VTU releases the notification.
